Wild pork pepper steak

Thin slices of pepper pork in a rich and creamy tomato sauce. You can use as much or as little pepper as you like. I like mine with enough pepper to give the dish a bite.

The peppered pork gives the dish a nice kick and it complements the rich sauce well.

Ingredients

1 kg Pork sirloin
white peppercorns coarsely ground
1 onion diced
2 tablespoon mustard
4 tablespoon tomato pure
100 ml cream

Instructions

Slice the pork about 1cm thick slices and bang the slices with a meat tenderizer.
Sprinkle the meat slices generously with pepper and fry in a hot pan until golden. Season with salt.
In a saucepan fry the onion gently in butter until soft.
Pour 100ml of water over the onion then add the mustard and tomato pure. Mix well then add the cream and bring to the boil.
Add the pepper pork steak to the sauce
Serve with potato and fresh veggies from the garden

Notes

Put the meat inside a freezer bag when tenderizing the meat to avoid blood and meat splatter.
