Equipment
Cast iron skillet - Not essential
Large frying pan or saucepan
meat mullet tenderizer
freezer bag - optional
cutting board
knife
The cast iron skillet pan helps give the meat a nice even caramelized surface because it holds and distributes the heat very well. Another good quality frying pan can be used instead if you don't have a cast iron skillet.
Wild pork meat
Wild boar meat is similar to pork, the main difference is that as a game meat, wild boar meat is leaner and tends to be darker red than ordinary pork. Wild pork has a rich flavor and is a healthier alternative to farmed pork because of its lean nature. You can be sure that the wild boar is truly free ranged with a natural diet of grass, roots, nuts and fruits.
