Raw crab meat
Onions
Garlic
Carrot
Celery
Potatoes
Butter
Flour
Fish stock
White wine

Sauce pan
Chopping board

How to cook crab chowder
- Sweat onion, carrot, celery and garlic in butter until soft.
- Add flour and mix to thick paste.
- Add the wine and cook for a couple of minutes.
- Add stock, half at the time. Mix well in between.
- Add potatoes. Cook for 10 – 15 minutes.

- Add cream and crab meat. Cook for another 10 minutes.
- Season and add chopped herbs.
- Taste and adjust seasoning.

- Enjoy!
Variations
- I made this recipe with crab meat however this recipe can be made with any seafood you like. A marinara mix of seafood is a great option.
- You can substitute the vegetables to any veggies of your liking. Sweet corn and peas are great options too.
- You can easily make this chowder thicker or thinner to your liking by adjusting the amount of flour.
- A slightly thicker version of this soup can be a perfect pie or voulevant filling
